Finger Prick Testing on the Water Festival Days

KHANA and its Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Non-Centers of Excellence (non-CoE) make a screening campaign for HIV on the Water Festival days which last three days from 5 to 7 November 2014.

The National AIDS Authority and the Phnom Penh municipal hall authorized and supported this finger prick campaign in Phnom Penh. CWPD, SABC, and KHEMARA operate their screening activities in three districts of Phnom Penh and they are Chamcar Mon, Daun Penh and Reussey Keo.

Based on the KHANA’s semi-annual report, it shows that 126 people are found with HIV positive among 31,439 people at high risks tested for HIV between January and September 2014.
