Background

WOSO was established in 1993 by returnees from refugee camps on the Thai border. KHANA

supports HIV care, support and prevention in one Operational District (Kong Pisey), 8 Health

Centres, 15 Communes, and 225 Villages in Kampong Speu province.

Vision

Establish and strengthen the capacity of Cambodian communities and the general public’s

response to democracy and human rights, education, food security, economy, primary health care

and especially TB, HIV and AIDS, and STI. To provide care and support to PLHIV, OVC and others

with malnutrition due to disease.

Mission Statement

Cambodian communities are involved in the response to democracy and human rights, education,

food security, ensuring economic, health care and especially TB, HIV and AIDS and STI and also

provide good quality of life to People Living with HIV, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and people

who are suffering from malnutrition or from other kinds of diseases .
