Background

SCC is a Cambodian Non-profit, Non Government Organisation (NGO) established in 1994 to

respond to the urgent need of Cambodian people for education, care and support relating to HIV

and AIDS. SCC works with Buddhist monks to implement HIV and AIDS prevention and care

activities. Through the compassion, commitment and dedication of a team of monks, staff,

volunteers and generous supporters, SCC has been able to improve the lives of many people

infected with and affected by HIV, especially orphans and vulnerable children. SCC has been

working in Siem Reap and Battambang provinces and Phnom Penh. KHANA supports care,

support and prevention in 4 Operational Districts (Siem Reap, Angkor Chum, Kralanh and

Sangkae), 11 Health Centres, 18 communes, 109 villages in Siem Reap and Battambang province.
