Background

Sacrifice Families and Orphans Development Association (SFODA) is a local NGO working with

vulnerable children for community development. It was established in 1997 and registered in the

same year. KHANA supports integrated care and prevention in one Operational District (Cheung),

3 Health Centers, 6 Communes and 24 villages.

Vision

SFODA’s vision is to develop and improve human resources, health and economic development

within the local community.

Mission Statement

To contribute to the development of human resources by giving vocational training skills to the

target group especially children. To contribute to the reduction of HIV transmission and drug related

issues in the community.

Seven of 19 full-time staff members and 17 of 18 part-time volunteers supported through KHANA
