Background

Prey Veng Provincial PLHIV Network (PVG-CPN+) was founded after a consultative workshop

with PLHIV in 2004. The workshop was arranged by KHANA in cooperation with the Prey Veng

Provincial Health Center, the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD (NCHADS)

and CPN+.

Vision

PLHIV in Prey Veng are united in order to help themselves, are free from isolation and unified in

expression of ideas. PLHIV are supported to reduce the discrimination from communities and

society and able to share living experiences as well as to receive health care services. Through

PVG-CPN+ they have opportunity to gather together to obtain knowledge of ways of living life fully

with HIV and AIDS and advice that addresses needs. PVG-CPN+ will ensure their rights and

increased support from communities and society.

Mission Statement

PLHIV in Prey Veng enjoy the same rights as other people. There is no discrimination in social

participation, and their standard of living is improved.
