Background

NAPA is a non-government and independent association that work in partnership with poor people

in rural areas to develop their community in order to positively change their attitudes and promote

empowerment. NAPA was formed by a group of people who were the former staff of local NGOs.

NAPA was officially registered in 1997. Specific KHANA coverage providing HIV care, support and

prevention includes: 2 Operational Districts (Kampong Speu and Kong Pisey), 7 Health Centers, 8

communes of Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province in 183 villages.

 

Vision

Poor people in remote areas live with dignity, food security, good health, better standard of living

and work together to promote their rights, democracy, gender equality and gain control over

development work in their respective areas.
