Background

Nak Akphivath Sahakum (NAS) is a non profit, non governmental and non political organization,

established in 1997 in Kampong Cham province by a group of Cambodian Engineer, Agronomist

and a Rural Development Agent led by Savun Sam Ol committed to better living quality of the

poorest of the poor including women-headed households vulnerable people with hopless,

HIV/AIDS/ chronic diseases and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and their families. NAS

has been registered with provincial governor in 1997 and with the Ministry of Interior, Royal

Government of Cambodia in 1999. NAS organization coverred two administrative districts, 1 OD

(Choeung Prey-Batheay) with the total of 8 health centers, 15 communes and 96 villages.

Most Vulnerable People of Cambodian obtain healthy, safety and quality of life as their rights based.

Build partner in transformational development, creative initiatives, and empower economic

environment for vulnerable women, children and families.

 

Human Resources

10 of 16 full time staff, 9 part time staff, 12 team volunteer, and 43 villages volunteers supported

through KHANA.
