Background

INDRADEVI Association (IDA) is non-governmental organization founded by group of women

doctors, professors, teachers and social workers in 1993. INDRADEVI Association was registered

with the Ministry of the Interior in 1994. IDA is a member of HIV/AIDS Co-ordination Committee

(HACC), Home Care Network Group (HCNG)/ MHD/PNP and Kandal province, Community

Development Sector’s member, Action Committee of Human Rights Advocacy Team/ STAR

KAMPUCHEA and Program Commissioner of Cambodia Guide Girl Association.,

Currently IDA implements projects on sexual and reproductive health, HIV and AIDS and STI, a

home based care project, constituency dialogue program, human rights and advocacy in Kandal

province. IDA also have implemented projects on small loans, rice banks, sewing skill training

courses, building school and a mental health project. KHANA supports integrated support and

prevention in 3 Operational Districts (Cheung, Kandal and Takmao), 7 Health Centers, 21

Communes and 114 Villages in Phnom Penh and Kandal province.

INDRADEVI Association (IDA) ‘s Vision is for all Cambodia people to live better with well-being,

prosperity, freedom, equity, justice and peace.

 

Mission Statement

To strengthen skill building and support services including coordination with all stakeholders of the

project/program(GO/NGO/CBO/Beneficiaries) in order of them to achieve effective and

sustainable community development.

 

Human Resources

17 full-time staffs, nine part-time staffs, 25 Volunteers and 10 community assistants supported

by KHANA.
