Background

Friends’ Association Pioneers (FAP) is a neutral Cambodian non-profit NGO. This association began

working in Siem Reap in 2000 led by a group of Cambodian volunteers who contributed their time to

help the organisation develop. FAP has been registered and recognized by the Royal Government of

Cambodia since 2000 and also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of

Social Welfare and Youth Rehabilitation on 16 October 2001. The project under KHANA catchment

covers: 1 Operational District (Sotr Nikum), 3 Health Centres, 5 Communes and 42 villages.

Contribute to the establishment of a peaceful society with sustainable development in more

productive ways

Mission Statement

To contribute and to participate with the Government and other NGO agencies to reduce poverty

and to help the most disadvantaged people to live with hope and dignity.

Human Resources

Five of 21 full-time staff members and 13 part-time volunteers and three part- time health center

staff supported through KHANA.
