Background

Children and Love Association (CLA) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and nonreligious

organization which was founded and registered with the Ministry of Interior in 1999. CLA

started its Home Based Care project in 2004 and provides care and support to people living with

HIV, orphans and vulnerable children with coverage of 38 villages of 3 communes within 3 Health

Centers of Mesang Operational District, in Mesang district, Prey Veng Province.

 

Vision

CLA envisions Cambodia as a country where happy, healthy, educated children can live in safety

with their families, where children are able to express their own opinions, ideas and needs and are

free from exploitation and abuse.

 

Mission Statement

CLA's mission is to implement the Convention on the Rights of child in a sustainable manner by

working with rural children, their families and the community to improve their social and

economic life.

 

Human Resources

Staff funded through KHANA: five full-time, three part-time staff, four team volunteers and 10 village

volunteers.
